Hi Mom and Dad. So after I went through security the brother and sister we saw from our old ward were waiting for me so we talked for a little bit. Then I went to my gate and waited a little bit and Carolynn (the lady I helped in Physical Therapy) came by and said hi again. Then I noticed Kathy was working at the desk. So I went and said hi. She was super surprised and got a little emotional. Then she decided to call and wake up Kendra so I could talk to her. So I did and that was great. Then I saw Sister Tingey and talked to her for a while until she boarded the plane. Then Chrissy Morgan came and said hi and walked me to the plane. Kathy also updated my seat so I was in economy comfort. And I had the row to myself so I was able to rest a little bit. Then I got to Salt Lake and I was on my way to baggage claim and Sister Tingey was waiting for me which was super sweet. I got my luggage and waited for my shuttle.
I made it safe to the MTC and things have been great so far. Kaylee had to do some major work to get into the MTC. They thought she was trying to kidnap me or something. But I arrived in the shuttle with two other Elders. Then the Sisters wanted to take my luggage and I said I'm not checking in yet and they were confused. But they were nice enough to take my luggage and then Kaylee drove up right after. Then we went to Kneaders and I sat in the back with Charlotte and ohmygoodness is she adorable! She was so happy and not scared of me we played with Lammy and peek a boo and had a great time. Then we met Branden there and I had delicious french toast and stuffed myself to the limit. Charlotte was being so cute and walking around. It was so great to see them and Branden gave me some stickers to mark scriptures for certain lessons and his favorite scriptures. So that will be super helpful. Then Branden dropped me off at the MTC. I waited for a while until a bunch of other Sisters and Elders arrived. Then my host helped with my luggage and I got my welcome packet and my essentials and dropped my stuff in my room. Things are great so far! Everyone is super nice and welcoming.
Love,
Sister Heath
